Almost all of the options I prebooked have been taken by guests. There are a few cabins and campsites left at Deer Run. Please email me if you want to use one of those spots, or if you are not sure where to stay. I am very familiar with the options and rates for the area and am happy to help!

Invitations are out!!
So, just a few weeks later than planned and the invitations were all sent out yesterday. I printed all of the invitations and postcards on a hand press again. Hopefully everyone receives them, we found out much later that some of our Save the Date's were never delivered. Sorry!!!
Be sure to cut up and plant your invite, you should have some pretty flowers sprout up in no time!! The RVSP postcard is already stamped and ready to mail, just fill it in and drop it in a mail box!
I haven't heard from too many people about where they are planning on staying. Please let me know ASAP if you want to use one of the spots I prebooked. I will not hold onto them much longer.
As for the schedule for the day, we will have that more finalized in a few weeks. For now, please assume that it will be all day, or as long as you wish to stay. We will have plenty of food and beverages. There will be a variety of outdoor and indoor activities to please all dispositions.

You want to get us a present? Great! We have registered at AMAZON to make things easier for everyone. You can even purchase an item from the registry somewhere else, and AMAZON allows you to go in and update the item as purchased.
As you may know, we are in the middle of a full house restoration, so gift cards to Home Depot or Lowes would also make a very thoughtful gift.

What Should I Wear?
I've had this question a few times... This is not a formal wedding, but, we are getting married and would like people to be somewhat dressy to celebrate the occasion.
What does this mean? Sundresses for the ladies, slacks and collared shirts for the men (jackets or blazers and ties are a nice addition!).
It will likely be a warm day (and the wedding and reception are outdoors) so please keep that in mind.

When and Where is the Wedding?
We are getting married outdoors at 11:00am, 23 July 2011 at the Knickerbocker Mansion in Schaghticoke, NY. Their site is down right now, but there is a nice write-up with pictures here.
The ceremony will be followed by a lunch reception.
There will also be mansion tours, outdoor games, and dancing. Please check back as the schedule and events firm up.
We are thinking of going to breakfast on the morning of the 24th at Saratoga.
I suggest that you stay in the area at least on the evening of the 23rd, if not the 22nd as well.

Who is invited?
If you received a "Save the Date" you are invited. If you have a spouse or "significant other", they are invited. If you have children, they are invited.
